Many Scottish holiday guests do not want to stay in an atmosphere which has previously been occupied by smokers. This website is for them because the following owners in Scotland all have banned smoking from some of the properties they let for Scottish holidays.
Smoking is banned from all hotels and guest houses in Scotland unless the proprietors specifically allow it. But, strangely, all self catering properties are exempted from the new laws which forbid smoking in public places. As a result many people who want to smoke are taking holidays in self catering properties.
