Spring weather in Scotland, April, May and June
Scotland is full of highly variable local climates. We have one of them in Kentallen. Our little area is warmer, has more sunshine, less frost, less snow than almost anywhere else in Scotland. We know this because there is a Meteorological Office Station at Dunstaffnage about 30 minutes’ drive away. Its records show that every month the temperature there is 15% higher than the average for Scotland. It has 18 days a year less frost. Sunshine in January is 33.5 hours, compared to Scotland’s average of 30.8 hours. Even the rainfall is less.
